it is a sacred memory that such atrocities must never happen again
it is a sacred memory
that such atrocities
must never happen again
flowers on graves like ghosts speak silently
flowers on graves like ghosts
speak silently

We all remember war
we all remember history
history is written not by those who lost
but those who wade through blood in victory

we start to forget the concentration camps
children like little skeletons
no food, and mothers lying to hoping children
that deliverance is to come

it is a sacred memory
that such atrocities
must never happen again
flowers on graves like ghosts
speak silently

“never again, please gods, never again…”
