I actually like spiders. They are cute and just because they have a lot of legs does not make them creepy in my book. There are a lot creepier things in the world like the type of vegans that want to force you to become one of them or the type of Christians that treat people with tattoos like sinners (btw Jesus liked sinners, I’ve read in the bible how he chose to hang out with them – nice person, that Jesus bloke). Anyhoo spiders are underappreciated. They bite, yes, but in my 52 years of living, they never bit me. Clearly, they respect people who like and respect them. The moral maybe is – if something is not in your comfort zone, show it respect, and it will leave you in peace too.

Please note – that I like vegans, and I like Christians too. Especially the ones that do not bite.

Listen to: Dancing Ghosts

As you know I love getting spooky on this blog, being a goth and all. Circuit Void’s Dancing with Ghosts resonates with me – I mean haunting lyrics, deep melancholic voices, great sound arrangement. What is not to like? They bring a unique sound to the goth/darkwave genre.

Also, the lyrics were written by one hell of a poet, Keith van Zyl who is my best friend and his passion for darkness and its beauty is inspiring. I must also give credit to whoever did the amazing video. I LOVE masks, creepy woods and graveyards are the prettiest places to get lost into. Watch this band. They will touch you deeply within with every song.

There is nothing sadder than a clown. Some people fear them, but to me, they are sad beautiful creatures. You know what is sadder… having a craving for a doughnut and I see hundreds falling. My favourite is glazed with white chocolate. What is your favourite doughnut? Do clowns make you sad too? Tell me and let’s be sad together…

BTW I love Puddles Pity Party. The artist has the voice of an angel. If you can, support him. Let’s pity party with puddles. He brings sense to a dreary world.

Every August there is a war behind my wall. Cats are lamenting, and it sounds like satan himself has come to reign down on a million pussies to torture them… who are those cats beyond my wall at war with. Some people theorise that it is not war, that it is an orgy of cats… those haunting painful mews… surely that is not the sound of great kitty sex…. *shudder*

I found a video on YouTube of cats at war. Ignore the guns and listen through them at a symphony of chaos, of my August night in a serenade of horror… Listen the whole hour and imagine hearing this hell sound… ALL NIGHT.
